GSTG artificial mat continues to gain popularity

GSTG Global (CEO Lee Hyo-sang), a golf course artificial grass specialist, reported that its artificial mat products are steadily gaining popularity both domestically and internationally.

GSTG products are being applied to major areas of the course, such as teeing grounds, tee entrances and exits, golf cart parking points, fairways and green entrances and exits, and pedestrian passages for golfers, greatly helping to protect natural grass.

Winter is a particularly challenging season for golf courses and grass. Golf courses that operate during the winter season must put even more effort into protecting grass.

It is virtually impossible to maintain the same course condition as during the dormant season. In addition, damage to grass caused by winter pressure can affect the following spring, making it difficult for course managers.

Therefore, golf courses have been using artificial grass mats to supplement natural grass in the winter. However, existing mats have problems such as poor durability and unsatisfactory shot feel due to foreign materials.

Accordingly, GSTG Co., Ltd. has developed artificial grass mats that can be used for various purposes, including winter mats that can be used reliably even in winter, and is receiving favorable reviews from greenkeepers.

Insulating Mat

This is GSTG's representative product that introduces groundbreaking artificial grass products every year and shows excellent performance in protecting natural grass in winter.

It can be applied to major areas of the course such as teeing grounds, fairway passages, and walking paths for golfers to protect natural grass.

It has excellent durability with a strong double-structured structure and matches naturally with its appearance similar to natural grass. It protects natural grass with excellent heat retention and has excellent drainage and ventilation effects, so there is no damage to the grass and there are no problems with growth. It is also designed to be lighter than existing mats, making it easy to move and install.

T-Free Air Mat

This product was developed for winter tee mats and is easy to use in all four seasons. It is designed so that you can freely put a tee anywhere, and an air cushion is applied so that the entire mat can breathe.

This allows air to circulate smoothly to the natural grass under the mat, so there is no need to worry about grass damage, and it is durable enough to withstand iron shots, so it can be used especially reliably on par 3 holes.

It is composed of four tones of color, creating a natural harmony with natural grass. Unlike existing mats, it does not have grooves, so there is no risk of damage, and the pre-heat setting process minimizes the bowl phenomenon.

Coverlawn

Coverlawn, a composite artificial grass that combines the advantages of artificial grass and natural grass, is designed with a honeycomb-patterned space so that natural grass can grow between the artificial grass, so that natural grass and artificial grass can fuse and complement each other.

Since it is easy to cover the existing honeycomb-shaped product and fix it with pins, it is recognized as an eco-friendly product that does not use any glue at all, and it is also well-received in overseas markets such as Europe and Japan.

Most existing artificial grass is produced using the tufting method of inserting piles into the foam, and is fixed with adhesive or filled between piles with filler during construction.

Cabaron has a honeycomb-shaped mesh structure between the piles for natural grass growth and drainage.

The surface fiber pile is made of soft polyethylene and has a natural two-color composition. The back fabric uses polyester high-strength fiber for durability.

Hero

The new year's composite artificial grass Hero is a groundbreaking product that combines 5% artificial grass and 95% natural grass to provide the same function as a natural grass field and extends its service life by about 3 times.

With an international patent application, it is currently exported to the US, Japan, the UK, Singapore, Australia, Qatar, etc. In particular, since 3 years ago, Hero products have been supplied to the world's top soccer clubs, Real Madrid in Spain and Liverpool in England.

Bunker Lawn

Bunker slopes require a lot of effort in course management. This is because bunker sand often flows away or is lost due to strong winds or rainwater.

Bunkerron was designed to have a much higher sand-keeping capacity than existing products to solve these problems. It is currently being used in 25 domestic and 30 overseas golf courses.
